The begining

We are a small family company with more then 30 years experience in the production of turned and milled machine parts. In 1979 two brothers, Franc and Marjan started with the production of parts being machined on conventional lathes.

The hired manufacturing space quickly became too small and in 1987 the company moved in the newly opened industrial zone. After two years we bought our first CNC-controlled machine, which allowed us the serial production of machine parts. Contacts have been established with partners from neighboring countries and the number of employees and the machines have increased

Retko d.o.o.

In 1998 the company splits in two seperate enterprises because of the retirement of the co-owner Franc Retko. The part of Franc was taken over by the second generation - his sons Peter and Robert (foundation of Retko d.o.o.). The other part remains to Marjan - REMF d.o.o. .

The new company grew also in the new millennium and the production area quickly became too small. We could finally resettled in 2006 in the newly built production building. That gave us better working conditions and at the same time expansion possibilities for the future. In the year 2008 our company has aquired the certificate ISO 9001:2008.
